For our first match of the season Warwick 1s took on Birmingham 3’s! Full of energy Warwick started strong in the first quarter, drawing 2-2 with our goal scorers being Ash and Sofia. After a difficult second quarter, our lack of subs soon caught up with us, with another 3 goals being scored, with 2 coming from our new addition to the team Mia. If last goal wins then we smashed it with the final goal of the game being scored by Charlotte.
Despite the disappointing final score the team went away with their head held high with lots of valuable lessons being learnt and great praise from both refs.
Our man on the match goes to Sofia for her amazing performance in attack and mid, and dick of the day went to caity who ended up on-top of a Birmingham player mid match.
