BUCS WEDNESDAYS: WARWICK MEN'S 2'S VS DE MONTFORT 1'S (13.10.21)

Today, unlike other results, the mighty Warwick 2’s secured a dominant win against DMU 1’s. The match started quickly, with Zach scoring the opening goal. Alex then quickly racked up his Hat trick followed by a debut goal from the president, Finn. We entered the second quarter with a 6-0 lead and Zach quickly completed his brace to end the half 8-1. The second half was considerably slower with DMU catching up by tighten up their defence and scoring fast breaks, but the game was topped off by a stunning drive and goal from fresher Luca. Overall the Game finished 10-4 with great performances from the fresher pair “LucaChris”. This is biggest 2’s win in recent memory. Hopefully this will be the start of a great season. Man of the match goes to Alex, who bagged 5, and the dick of the day goes to veteran dev captain Anthony scoring none but not for a lack of trying. Big shout out to head coach, Louis, offensive coordinator, Reece, and defensive coordinator Vinny for being essential to the win without even touching the ball.
